| Josh's Story Continued... One thing you can say about the Zalunardo family is that they are genuine people and they truly value each person they meet. The love of God shines through them and blesses everything they do. When God called pastor Gino up to Pine Mountain, he obeyed, and through his obedience many great things have happened God has moved through this small town with rippling effects on countless people. Addictions are being broken, lives are being turned around, the hopeless are being filled with a greater hope than they have ever imagined, and the lonely are being shown a love that the Bible refers to as Agape, love that can only come from God. I Peter 5:8-9 says "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world." Satan sees all that God is doing through Gino ad he is not happy but you know what? I John 5:4 says "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world, and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." Words cannot describe this young man, and the plans that God has for him. Joshua, from the Hebrew name: יְהוֹשֻׁעַ (Yehoshu'a) which meant "YAHWEH is salvation". Joshua was one of the twelve spies sent into Canaan by Moses in the Old Testament. After Moses died Joshua succeeded him as leader of the Israelites. The name Jesus is derived from this name. So as you see this website and go on through your day remember Josh and pray for his family that God would give them strength and great faith and more than anything a peace that surpasses all understanding. |
